Drying a home is a calculation, not a guess. The number of dehumidifiers and fans we set comes from real measurements: how many pints of water per day we need to pull out of the environment, and how many grains of moisture are in the air after a loss. When those readings change, the equipment changes with them.
The math exists because water binds into materials. It can soak into drywall, baseboards, and the subfloor, and looking dry isn’t the same as being dry. Getting that water back out means creating conditions where it wants to leave the material, a principle called disequilibrium. If you’re the curious type, ask us about vortex drying; we’re happy to walk through it. Sometimes we can dry materials in place, and sometimes removing them is the better call, when a material binds the water in a way we can’t get it to evaporate, or drying would take too long.
We’re not guessing. We’re using training and expertise to pull water out of bound materials and keep your home safe and clean.
